Certain positions are required to have up-to-date clearances and Mandated Reporter Training on file with the Business Office. We can help you attain these clearances if you don't have them already!

Local Mission

The Blessing Board is a faith-based furniture bank. On "A Day of Blessing," clients make appointments to come and receive free furniture. Ministry Assistants greet the clients and walk through the showroom with guests to help choose furniture.

The Blessing Board is a faith-based furniture bank. On "A Day of Blessing," clients make appointments to come and receive free furniture. Furniture Carriers serve by loading furniture into the clients' vehicles.

Cloverleaf Area Ecumenical Assistance Program distributes food and assistance to clients within a 2 1/2 mile radius of the Pleasant Hills Cloverleaf. The position involves setting up tables with food products, providing clients with the food they request, restocking all the leftover food products, and cleaning and tearing down the tables. Food distributions occur every other Tuesday.

Regional Mission

Cooks are needed to prepare dinner for those housed at East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM). Food is prepared in individual homes and brought to the church by 4:45pm on the second Friday of every other month (Feb, Apr, June, Aug, Oct, and Dec).

Servers are needed to serve dinner to those housed at East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM). The prepared food is carpooled to EECM for dinner at 6:30pm; servers return to the church by 8pm. This occurs on the second Friday of every other month (Feb, Apr, June, Aug, Oct, and Dec).

International Mission

The ESPWA Foundation supports a variety of children's ministries in Haiti and evangelism efforts. Please pray for Haitian missionaries and ministry leaders who share the Good News of Jesus as they serve the poor.

Since 2003, Diane and John Davis (former PHC members) have conducted a Texas/Mexico Border Ministry. Though in retirement, we pray for their health, God's peace, and new opportunities to share and experience the love of Christ.
